Why Are Architects Choosing Mitsubishi Electric For Retail Retrofits?
In this application we explore an installation of modern Mitsubishi Electric HVAC technology into the historic 130-year old Printworks building in Belfast Northern Ireland, bringing modern comfort and efficiency to the heritage space. This is a remarkable project where our trusted Diamond Quality Partner, Air Cool Engineering, brought new life to a very old, heritage-style building by installing a Mitsubishi Electric VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) system, proving that energy-efficient climate control and architectural preservation can go hand in hand. The key? Striking the right balance between modern comfort and preserving the aesthetic integrity of a heritage site. Originally constructed in 1890, the historic Printworks Building has been transformed into a state-of-the-art office and retail space, without losing its character. With high-efficiency Mitsubishi Electric MVHR and air conditioning systems, it now matches the performance of any new-build office. Here Paul Elliot, Architect and Project Manager for Angus Properties, gives a very brief overview of the project.
