Sustainability

Developing Partnerships

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is an integral part of being a good corporate citizen. It encourages companies to make a positive impact on the environment and stakeholders including consumers, employees, investors, and communities. Mitsubishi Electric positions corporate social responsibility (CSR) as the foundation of its corporate management, and promotes their Corporate Mission and Guiding Principles as its basic policies of CSR. Mitsubishi Electric Ireland actively promotes its Corporate Social Responsibility through numerous activities, such as local sponsorships and donations.

In 2016, Mitsubishi Electric Ireland proudly announced its Charity Programme, naming Make-A-Wish Ireland as one of its charity partners. Since 2016, Mitsubishi Electric Ireland has proudly supported the charity in many of its fundraising initiatives.

The Recycling Programme

We have developed a recycling programme for end-of-life air-conditioning units and heating units. In partnership with 3rd party recycling companies this service will give you an easy to use and certificated route for disposal of end of life equipment. At Mitsubishi Electric we are committed to recycling as one of our core corporate commitments.

History

2024

Mitsubishi Electric Ireland moved to a new premises in July of 2024, due to the continued growth and expansion of our operations in Ireland. This move marks a significant milestone in our history, reflecting our commitment to growth, sustainability and innovation in Ireland. The Irish branch was first established in 1981 from our base on the Longmile road, relocating to Westgate Business Park, Ballymount in 1992. Now, due to our substantial growth and ongoing expansion in Ireland, we are relocated to a new premises in Plunkett House, Grange Castle Business Park, Nangor Road, Dublin 22 to accommodate this growth.

This move allows us to continue to expand our workforce and to enhance our training facilities. Our new premises, designed with energy efficient systems, offer existing new beginnings for our team and our partners, with modern workspaces, state-of-the-art meeting rooms, a state-of-the-art training centre, interactive demonstration areas and advanced technological infrastructures to support innovative projects and efficient workflows. Our investment in our new premises is a testament to our continued commitment to our customers and partners in Ireland, and we look forward to continuing to innovate and support projects that build a smarter and more sustainable society, driving changes for the better.
