AIRME is dedicated to the complete air conditioning of small and medium-sized environments and can provide cooling, heating, humidification and dehumidification with up to 100% air renewal. AIRME is the new range of compact, pre-configured air handling units. AIRME is dedicated to the complete air conditioning of small and medium-sized environments and can provide cooling, heating, humidification and dehumidification with up to 100% air renewal. The range is composed by hydronic and direct expansion versions.
w-AIRME is the hydronic air handling unit, designed by Mitsubishi Electric, with a cooling capacity from 10 to 150 kW and an airflow from 3,000 to 20,000 m3/h. The w-AIRME is equipped with a hydronic air treatment coil, optimised to work in synergy with Mitsubishi Electric chillers or heat pumps, such as MECH-iS and MEHP-iS.
The new range is available in 7 sizes, each one with 3 different capacity levels: Basic, Intermediate and Boosted with 3 different functions. The first one is All Recirculation (AR) with 100% recirculated air, the second one is Mixing and Free Cooling (MF) with partial or full fresh air up to 100%, while the double flow function consists of Heat Recovery – Plate heat exchanger (HR-P) with full fresh air and free cooling (100%).
Mainly designed for comfort applications, the new w-AIRME is based on a focused design and on the use of standard components: the innovative structure based on self-supporting sandwich panels with a thickness of 60 mm eliminates the effects of thermal bridges; the flat prefilters and high-efficiency rigid bag filters ensure complete purification from even the finest and most harmful particles, the plug fan fans with brushless EC motors guarantee the best efficiency and maximum energy savings.
No, the AIRME range features a complete on board control system with proprietary MEHITS software to control and optimize the system. All accessories, sensors, actuators, etc. are factory wired and tested for a truly “Plug & Play” installation.
It can be a completely stand-alone installation or integrated into the Building Management System.
